This was a very exciting paid commission work to develop a concept design of bottles for natural spring water - Saint Nicholas (Святой Николай). The investors came up with the name of the brand, and planned to get into mid- and premium market segment, so the bottle had to be unusual and stand out. On the other hand, since the whole concept involves religious theme, the Orthodox church representatives later asked not to depict any religious symbols or Saint Nicholas directly, since the package is to be utilized after the water is consumed. This restriction made the challenge even more interesting. The investors have liked one of the ideas, which has been developed to a concept 3D model and approved by the Orthodox church.
